- Walk Only Dressage Test View Test

(This is a special class offered by Lighten Up Dressage. You may lead your rider, coach your rider from the ring side or place people around the arena for support. Coaching is encouraged, cheering greatly appreciated. The highest score is a 9 the lowest score is a 6. Everyone gets a special blue ribbon. Requirements are: approved riding hat, riding boots/shoes and an english saddle and bridle. ONLY Intro A riders may enter the walk only class as a warm up.)

Prizes awarded first through sixth place.
High point awards and division awards for Jr., Sr.
High Point awarded to the highest placing Jr. and Sr. of the show.

Concessions on grounds.

Stalls: Permanent stalls with doors available on show grounds for $20.00 per stall. Bedding is available at $6.50 per bag. Please note how many bags you want on entry form.

Make checks out to Lighten Up Dressage. NOT Latta Park. Enclose copy of current coggins that does not have to be returned.

Riding Times will be available Tuesday before the show. Please call 704-947-0902 between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM for ride times or log onto the web site.

Attire: boots, breeches and approved helmet with chinstrap or appropriate dressage headgear required. 1/2 chaps ok, leg protection for horses legs ok. Proper schooling show attire requested.
Braiding and coats are optional. Approved helmet with chinstrap is required for all juniors while mounted

Directions: I-77 exit 16B, Sunset Road. Travel down Sunset Road WEST. Turn right onto Beatties Ford Road and follow signs for Latta Park. Cross over Mt. Holly/Huntersville Road and thru traffic light. When you are between the stonewalls turn left onto Sample Road. Follow signs to Latta Equestrian Center.

USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medal holder
Trained with Conrad Shumacher in Germany
Organizes clinics with Conrad Shumacher & Axel Steiner
Just back from competing in FL over the winter

She has been riding all her life. She had evented and represented Region 8 at the North American Young Rider Championships. Her clinics are positive and her teaching skills are great.
